What undergraduate programmes are offered by FKAAB?

We offer two programmes for undergraduates - Bachelor of Civil Engineering with Honours and Bachelor of Science in Architecture.

When are the intakes for your academic programmes?

Our academic programme intakes are in March and October every year.

What are the admission requirements for your Bachelor of Civil Engineering with Honours programme?

You must have either a Diploma, STPM, STAM or Matriculation qualification. Detailed admission requirements for our Bachelor of Civil Engineering with Honours programme are explained here.

What are the admission requirements for your Bachelor of Science in Architecture programme?

You must have either a Diploma, STPM, Matriculation or Foundation qualification. Detailed admission requirements for our Bachelor of Science in Architecture programme are explained here.

I have a Diploma. Can I get credit transfer?

Yes, you are eligible for credit transfer. You will have to apply for credit transfer first. Decisions are made based on the regulations for credit transfer.

Are your programmes accredited?

Yes, all our programmes are accredited by the Malaysian Qualifications Agency (MQA). Furthermore, our Bachelor of Civil Engineering with Honours is accredited by the Engineering Accreditation Council, and our Bachelor of Science in Architecture is accredited by the Council of Architectural Accreditation and Education Malaysia. Do you offer postgraduate programmes?

Yes, we offer Master (by Coursework or Research) and Doctor of Philosophy in Civil Engineering, as well as Built Environment. For further information, kindly click here.

Can I do my Master or PhD part-time?

Yes, we offer part-time programmes for Master (by Research) and Doctor of Philosophy. Master (by Coursework) is full-time only. For further information, kindly click here.

I am an international student. Is English the language used for teaching and learning?

Yes, teaching and learning are conducted primarily in English.
